The Museum of English Rural Life, Redlands Road, Reading, displays the changing face of farming and the countryside. There are puppets, brass rubbing and hidden rats to find! Entrance is free. 

The Polehampton Swimming Association exists to provide a swimming pool for the use of Polehampton Schools and the local community and is a registered charity. Open to all families living in Twyford, Ruscombe, Hurst, Wargrave and Charvil.

Reading Museum offers learning experiences that are fun and suitable for all the family. From students to young children, all levels are catered for. There are many opportunities for informal learning including the chance to handle real objects. Entrance is free.

Children's Centres act as a central point where families can find a wide variety of activities, play, information and support from professionals working in a wide range of fields and organisations. 

The Trustees are able to award grants for educational and charitable purposes and welcome applications from residents of Twyford and Ruscombe who are in need of financial assistance.
